The clock is 120 cm square and contains 48 ceramic cups. Many of which are on stepper motors. Time is displayed, very acurately, but in a human way:
"almost quarter to twelve" "just gone one"
Every 5 minutes, a time related saying or some words of advise are offered:
"Lunch is the most important meal of the day." "Tempus Fugit" "Time for a nightcap?"!
The clock was originally created for the 2012 London Olympics
